Attention All Pilots: Scramble!

This is Scramble, but as it could have appeared in the late eighties, early nineties. Bold, colourful graphics give that old skool feeling of being in the arcades with your mates, trying to get to the top of the hi-score list.

Overview

SCRAMBLE RND requires you to fly over the enemy planet surface in search of their top-secret base. This base is hidden somewhere beyond the caves and factory city of the enemy. As you fly over the landscape you can bomb and shoot enemy installations. One very important installation is the FUEL POD. When you destroy one, you get more fuel. As your ship is fast and nimble it will quickly burn through its fuel supply so make sure to practice precision bombing.

Rockets and saucers make surviving more difficult, but a good pilot can destroy or avoid these and then reach deep into the enemy city to destroy the secret base.

Once this mission is complete you can expect more missions as the enemy is always returning.

A Random Twist

Each time you play the landscape is constructed differently meaning you will always have a fresh experience every time you play.

Well done, congrats on finishing it! Having lots of fun playing it but still suck at it.

When I decided to finish it, I got it done in two weeks, so all it took was a little kick in the butt.   Glad to hear you like it, Mark! You've been an inspiration for a long time! Cheers!

It really was that simple! Thanks, a nice little homage to the original arcade game.

"Unzip the file and start the executable for your OS. It's that simple!"

Please consider using plain zip in future so this statement is true.

Thanks Skid. Were you unable to unpack it ?

FYI: Ark, LXQt file archiver, WinRAR, 7-Zip, and many others open *.7z files just fine in case you are having issues.
